Still haunted by the memory of a Special Forces mission, which he led in 2010, that turned to a disaster. John baur is given the opportunity to redeem himself by returning to Iraq to rescue a TV reporter held hostage. He is captured by a terrorist cell who has connections to section 13. In distress, he sends an encoded message, which he gives up the terrorist’s next attack location. Knowing beforehand that someone in section 13 betrayed him, he gives out the encrypted message only in the way that someone from his Iraq unit could decrypt correctly. Before he is executed, section 13 tracks down one of his formers comrades from Iraq to help with the encoded message.
